This movie is based on a true story. It is a comedy/drama about a down and out parolee, played by Kevin Hart, being hired on as a caregiver for a billionaire quadriplegic having no caregiving experience whatsoever. At first they struggle to get along, but then they become close friends. This movie will pull at your heartstrings, and make you laugh as well. There are many life lessons to be learned… acceptance of others, without judgement, no matter the differences was the main one highlighted. The acting was amazing and the dynamic between Kevin and Bryan was beautiful. Some of the scenes I really enjoyed was the joyriding in the sports car while being chased by police… the blind date ...and Philip( Bryan Cranston) selling Dell’s(Kevin Hart’s) first attempt at painting for a very large sum, affording him the ability to buy a home for himself and his girlfriend. The movie ended with the two paragliding together. I highly recommend this movie. I give it 10 stars out of 10! This is one of those movies I could watch over again and not mind at all.
