Two reasons To Run is a sequel to One Little Lie. A suspenseful, romance novel that will leave you wanting more. Police Chief, Jane Hardy is still reeling from the lie that turned her world upside down, and the scandal that rocked her small town. She recently took the job as police chief after her father had retired. He is the man who caused so much chaos from his one little lie. Now she is reunited with her 15 year old son who was presumed dead at birth, and his father Reid.
When a murder aboard the oil platform exposes a terrorist plot to flood the Mobile Bay with crude oil, Jane and Reid must work together to prevent this, despite the way Jane feels betrayed by Reid. The closer they get to solving it, the more danger they are in. When a threat is given to kill her son if she doesn’t stop, they wonder if they can continue on. Protecting Will may be the common ground they need. Jane has plenty of reasons to run, but what if she stays?
