This movie is a heart warming, feel good, romantic comedy about a recent widower named Dan Burns. He writes a column in a paper giving family advice for a living, but struggles at home with raising his 3 daughters by himself.
Dan and his girls go to a family gathering, and it ends up being a lot of bickering and fighting amongst Dan and his siblings. In an effort to escape the madness, Dan finds himself at a local bookstore where he seeks refuge. While there he meets and falls for a pretty, and charming girl named Marie. However, he soon finds out that Marie is dating his brother, and so their flirtation must come to a startling halt. What will this do to his relationship with his own family? Will Dan be able to draw from his own advice? Watch the movie for yourself and find out what happens between Dan, his competitive brother, and Marie.
