A Walk To Remember – Movie

This movie, A Walk To Remember, came out in January of 2002.
It is the story of young teen Landon Carter (played by Shane West). Landon is a smart kid with some father anger issues. However, one night out with his friends after a school dance, they decide to play a joke on a new student who wants to be his friend and the prank turns disastrous.
The school consequences from the principal are that Landon has to stay after school and clean, tutor school kids at a neighbor school on Saturday mornings, and join the drama club. Landon complies even as his friends are giving him a hard time.
Landon notices the preacher’s daughter, Jamie Sullivan (played by Mandy Moore) singing on Sunday morning. They have some classes together, tutor on Saturdays at the same school, and are in the same drama club. They start spending lots of time together. Jamie shares her bucket list with Landon and he starts making some of her wishes come true.
