Atonement Movie Review
The movie, Atonement, is about a moment, a lie, which will destroy all future joy in three young lives.
Two sisters, from a wealthy British family, both have feelings for the housekeepers son, Robbie Turner (played by James McAvoy). The younger sister, Briony (played by Saoirse Ronan) sees her older sister, Cecilia (played by Keira Knightly) with Robby. Briony misunderstands what she sees resulting in a thirteen year old telling what she believes to be the truth to the police. Only later does Briony realize the damage she has caused in all their lives.
This movie pulls at your heartstrings and has you on the edge of your seat throughout.
