The Christmas Miracle of Jonothan Toomy

This movie is based on one of the most loved childrenś books. It is an Oscar nominee that is a must-see for Christmas this year. Tom Berenger stars as a recluse, with a secret past. The children named him Gloomy Toomy and often make up stories about him. A young boy and his recently widowed mother move into town and slowly they work their way into his heart. The boy, Thomas lost his father in the war and had to move, leaving behind his precious nativity scene. Since Mr. Toomy is a carpenter they commissioned him to make a new nativity. This is a story of love, and redemption, and miracles. I recommend watching this movie this Christmas season, to remind us of the true meaning of Christmas…Jesus.
