The amazing Robyn Carr once again brings us to the quaint little town of Virgin River for the "Return of Virgin River. In this Virgin River book she brings us new friends, fresh starts and some Christmas Magic.
Kaylee Sloan's home is in California and it is full of all the things that remind her of her mother, who has recently passed away. Kaylee is a writer and because of all the reminders of her mother and her grief she has, she decides to rent a house in Virgin River so that she can meet her book deadline. When she gets to Virgin River she finds out the house she was supposed to rent, is on fire! She heads on over to Jack's Bar to figure out where she is going to stay and since the majority of the town’s population frequents Jack’s Bar daily, everyone is more than willing to help this poor newcomer out. When Kaylee finally gets her housing situation straightened out, she finds a stray cat and a mama dog with a litter of puppies that she decides to takes in. She finds her heart softening a bit to animals that she never would have thought she would love. And then there is the dog trainer who knows just how to help her.
As Christmas is quickly approaching Kaylee's dread of the holiday season changes to wonder and love!
As you read through this book you will find love, laughter, loss and community. This is the perfect book to read this Christmas Season!
Can't wait for the next Virgin River book!!
