Fun Animal Book For Children

Book Review Cuddly Critters for Little Geniuses By Susan and James Patterson Just about any child can identify a cat, a dog, or a pig, but only a little genius will know the Tarsier from the Tapor, or the Dumbo Octopus from the Axolotl. In this fun book you will meet the most adorable and strangest animals that live on planet earth. Each of the fun critters, some with very fun names to say out loud, have fun and interesting facts to learn about them. For instance, did you know that the Tarsier has huge eyes that are heavier than its whole brain? Also it can rotate its head 180 degrees, just like an owl? Pretty cool, right? Some other interesting animals include a pink fairy armadillo, or a panda ant. An interesting fact I found rather amusing is about the Blanket Octopus. They get their name from the wide webbing between its arms. This webbing is there to scare off its enemies, by making it appear larger than it really is. But the funny thing is that females can grow to be more than 6 feet long, but males are only about 1 inch long!! Read this book with your little genius and you too can become a genius as well. The illustrations are really well done. Hope you enjoy this book with your little one. HS
